Does anybody else have this issue? I'm constantly asked for advice or feedback but no matter what I say, it's always ignored. It’s like talking to a wall. All suggestions are ignored and problems swept under the rug. Nothing changes, ever. It’s the same frustrating cycle of pretending to care, then doing absolutely nothing. It's driving me crazy.

Yea, this best describes The Juniper Way. It’s cultural throughout the company
You do need a work buddy or two who you trust and don't need to act around. They build you up and you them. If there's no chance of that where you are, look for a better place. I have had good work buddies, almost like college so it is possible.
The purpose of this website literally states “personal experiences” which this post is. So the person below can buzz off.
personal experiences "about layoffs". Not your personal hangups about your co-workers.

And yes. I’ve been here 5 ish years. Either you’ll recommend the idea for improvement and they’ll do it and never give you any credit/take the credit for themselves OR they’ll just blatantly ignore it and it’ll just get worse as the cycle keeps going.
Alas…. That’s corporate America. Welcome to the real world. Don’t tell your ideas to anyone unless you’d trust them with a g-n to your head too.
Wonder if OP is same person who complained about not having friends at work, too.
This is not the site to work out your personal work hang ups.
Welcome to the world. To help you enjoy your stay, I'll give you two words: "corporate lobotomy." You need to perform this operation on yourself so you can nod your head in meetings and smile nicely no matter how obviously stupid the plan. It also helps you not waste your intelligence on fools. If you continue on your current path you may notice your correct judgement coming out of fools mouth, to the benefit of their career not yours. The corporate lobotomy also works for emotional distress, but I recommend it as preventative measure.
