Here in Camas Washington, we're still super busy. I don't know what are you guys talking about? We just got a big bonus here too. But deep down, I'm sure something rotting deep inside that they don't want to inform us. They're probably waiting for the July 2025 to come around and...bam...chopping block is in the house. Im not worries. Just let me go and give me my damn severance package.
@wye Not for all the LTC folks who have got let go in wave after wave.
@v19 I think the Linear acquisition went reasonably smoothly, but the Maxim integration has been botched completely. So many island kingdoms.
Last week's layoff was brutal and without human decency.... walk-out immediately, computer and building access all disabled... affected employee did not even have a chance to send last email to say goodbye
RIF is still happening... monthly seems like... so that they do not have to file WARN in California... very sneaky
MMP was hit. Great folks let go while some leeches for the lack of a better word are resting and vesting.
Everything was fine and dandy... I really wish Analog didn't acquire Linear and Maxim.
Further layoffs in Chandler today, big names as well. All legacy Maxim I think...
any news? especially for VBU?
I worked at the Auburn site for many years, great Linear Tech colleagues. I hope this news is not true, wish them the best.
Although announced in January ( 2 weeks after announcing receipt of $150 million in CHIPs Act $$) the Auburn NH site closes this Friday, May 9th. About 20-30 test, lab people lost their jobs. Others had to chose between remote work or Wilmington.
seems that mgmt thinks of shutting turkey office down. and growing in spain, instead. due to increasing costs in turkey.. idk, how many workers will be affected... they fired hr team in istanbul last mont. . but, the new tariff may change their thoughts. let's see.. good luck for all of us...
Good timing of latest re shuffle and sackings. Mgmt now face a real challenge for once and will fail abismally
More gone today in California and Limerick
Not cool Irish mafia...not cool
They are most expensive.
US citizens seem mostly affected
The morale for those left is unbelievably low. Work will… be a lot slower…
Just wonder: is Vicent Roche still survived and not been laid off? I thought he is the first one who should be let go because of his terrible job performance.
Sounds like this round was rough? Are teams teams getting shut down?
ADI San Jose: Mayday, mayday, we're going down! I repeat, we're going down!
Layoff is happening in CHLM rn on 3/6. Bloodbath.
Got laid off today 3/5 after working there for 20 years. Can’t even explain how cr-ppy it is. My job was “eliminated” and has nothing to do with my age. Now I’m left to worry about a disabled wife & daughter. No one cares no loyalty exists everything is going down the drain in this country and this company
Multiple people laid off at WILM today (3/5/2025). Also in the CA location and soon CHLM.
Second round of layoffs, after the round in January.
Surprise surprise... another re-org.
I'm sure more bodies will be left behind
Strong Q1 results yet an American job gets replaced with labor at an offshore location.
Was February 14th your last day?
Any news on this? Did the layoffs end with Q1 or are we expecting new rounds in Q2?
Any further updates? Will there be more cuts announced or is it done?
