What is the point of this stupid question OP?

You do know that if you worked more than 5 years fir VMware/bcom you have to pay Hock $20K for each year worked when you quit?
Yes your employment tenure is backdated to your original start date with VMW
The answer doesn’t matter, Hrock Tran does what he wants, changes policy at will. Get used to it.
Question for clarity: Do all VMware employees tenure or years served go back to actual date of becoming a Broadcom employee/November 2023 (not their start date with VMware)?
It depends
You pay Broadcom to leave, didn’t you read what you signed?
I think BC pkg as it gives you 2 weeks per year of service as severance.
Wow. vmware people are gonna be r3amed. 1 year of service at Broadcon.
Well, as any seasoned tech veteran knows, it really comes down to your Confusion Quotient Index (CQI™). Broadcom is famous for their patented "Semiconductor Sayonara Plus Plus++" package which includes:
- 3 months of premium corporate buzzword coaching
- Lifetime supply of virtual water cooler moments
- Access to their exclusive "Chip-Chased-Out" LinkedIn background template
Meanwhile, VMware offers their legendary "Virtualized Farewell Bundle 3.0" featuring:
- Complimentary cloud-native tears storage
- Emergency supply of artisanal coffee beans (because who needs sleep when job hunting?)
- Premium subscription to "Stack Overflow for Ex-Employees"
The real differentiator though is the FOMO (Farewell Optimization Metrics Orchestration) score. Some say Broadcom's package comes with more bandwidth-optimized severance algorithms, while others prefer VMware's agile separation methodology.
Have you calculated your Personal Exit Velocity (PEV) score yet? That's usually the key metric in deciding which package better aligns with your post-employment digital transformation journey! 😄
I think BC pkg as it gives you 2 weeks per year of service as severance. I do not know if there is a cap.

Mister Spicoli, you are wasting the class' time.
