I was laid off as well on the 11th with no warning. Telling me it was my last day. I did get a severance package though and had access to withdraw from my 401K, so look at your options. I just paid off my truck :) And we are allowed to reapply to the company, btw, if we were not let got for negative reasons. I love the Team and connected teams I was a part of and am working on getting back in :)
I got laid off from Cencora on Friday 11/8/24 with no warning as well! Immediately!

As a dynamic organization that evolves with our strategy and with a continued focus on enhanced cross-selling approaches, we are sharing an evolution of the Global Pharma Services (GPS) sales organization.
As the organization continues to invest in enterprise commercialization capabilities, -redacted-, VP, US Commercialization, will join the Commercialization team. The International Commercialization team serves as the entry point of contact for emerging biopharma manufacturers globally, as they begin the commercialization process. These changes will help us partner with clients in a more effective way and ensure there is strong coordination globally.
As a result of these changes the role of Vice President, New Business Development for US Patient Services has been eliminated. In addition, the decision was made to release the team members who held Strategic Account Manager positions. We thank these team members for their contributions and will continue to support them through this transition These account management responsibilities will be transitioned to Senior Directors, who will now serve in an Account Management role, within US Patient Services as they continue to focus on client relationships. We are now able to establish clearer and more strategic ownership within the team, streamlining the decision-making process. Additionally, this will lead to faster responses to client needs and ensure clearer lines of sight to effectively address and meet client requirements.

A Message from Patient Services: Organizational Announcement
As a dynamic organization dedicated to evolving with our strategy, we have been actively exploring ways to enhance our support for our patients, our clients, and the wider healthcare landscape. Over the past two years, our business has faced significant headwinds that have encouraged us to adapt and focus on cost management and operational efficiencies.
Leaders across the organization have developed plans to reduce our operating expense growth rate, forming a comerstone for managing our business moving forward. By focusing on expense reduction and prioritizing performance and execution, these initiatives aim to enhance operational efficiency and financial stability. As such, after careful consideration we made the difficult decision to eliminate a number of positions within Patient Services. Impacted tearn members were informed of this decision last week and are currently being supported through the transition process. We express our gratitude and appreciation to these team members for their significant contributions to
our team.
To streamline the organization, some Senior Manager roles have been eliminated from the Operations team, and managers will report directly to the Director of Operations. Senior Directors will now serve in an Account Executive role responsible for client engagement and strategy and will continue to report to Vice Presidents, and the Directors will report directly to the Vice Presidents.
With this change, we will be able to establish clear and strategic ownership within the team and streamline the decision-making process, enhancing the patient and client experience.
We acknowledge that the last few years have been challenging for Patient Services, but we are confident that these changes will better position us for success moving forward.
Our commitment to this team is to continue to be transparent in communicating and seek input as we prepare for the future. Thank you for the dedication you demonstrate to our company, our customers, and their patients. If you have any questions, please speak to your manager or team leader.
I found out yesterday an IT colleague was laid off while he was on paternity leave.
They lost couple of major clients this year and one is set to leave next year which explains lay offs. Not much innovation from a product pov and although the direct leaders seem to care, people at the executive level don't seem to care for the actual employees.

All senior managers were laid off or eliminated. I also understand the implementation team is now gone.
I was laid off on Friday from Cencora. At 6:30 AM there was a strange "Required" invitation posted on my work calendar. The meeting was at 12:30 PM. When I opened the Microsoft Teams link to join the meeting, there was no meeting. There was a video that had a play button on it. I clicked play. The video was 5 minutes long. VP Bill Smith informed us (we could not see who was all watching the video) we were laid off due to budget constraints. The layoff was effective the same day we were being told. It's weird because for the past two years Amerisource Bergen/Cencora has been laying off people in the Spring and Fall. While this was very painful to experience, I am glad I had the opportunity to work there. It was a fun and rewarding place to work. I am not bitter about the lay offs, I just wish the company was viable enough to keep it's employees. I think a lot of the layoffs are due to contracts are going to Cencora's competitors. With the layoffs, I bet Cencora's employees are going to it's competitors as well.
I’m seeing a lot of “open to work” posts on LinkedIn from people who worked at Cencora. But no clear commonality between their positions.
Heard Client delivery, Data Innovations, and. few from IT were let go today.
Learning and development was laid off today with 0 notice. Its very sad.
Yep there was layoffs today with multiple layoffs next week.
