Monitoring varies by business unit and job responsibilities.
Call centers have reports generated to determine call times, performance, etc.
Other units may have reports to check downtimes of users if abuse is suspected.
Security can also monitor live or various pieces of stored data to catch violations of company policies.
I know for a fact a manager I had was watching my screen periodically. I have a script that detects/monitors remote connections.
This isn’t new. They can, and do, run reports on anything you do. Phone center lines are recorded. He-l, they’ll run a report on a report. Big brother is always watching you one way or another.
managers do not monitor your computer activity.
I can tell you with 100% confidence that a major financial institution used it back in 2003. So I’m willing to bet Fido employs some form of this tech—esp since they used to be a “remote-friendly” company.
Where you been the last couple years? This is old news. Many companies do this, but who know is fidelity does it. Many comments across blind and fishbowl mention like “Fidelity sees all” implying that they do. But no one has shared anything concrete
