Small layoffs are always welcomed by big shareholders. Large layoffs are not initially, but also surround times of cheaper shares to buy more.

Generally, shareholders like and support a layoff if it stops the hemorrhage of money and raises stock price. Whatever it takes to make them $$$.
Nah. It’s cost savings to fund CA’s salary hike. CA will deliver very nice speech but not a good results.
