thieves, they steal.
I just found out that RAC closed in my area I have a loaner refrigerator that was a downgrade from what I was paying for and now I’m stuck with this ugly thing

They kept all the cheaters in 2018 and now they are in trouble, none of the "numbers" are real...
Via a conference call The term that was used from the RD and HR was “ got a problem with the team, fire the coach”. These men and women have fought over and over again for RAC and in reality they are nothing more than a number in the corporate eyes. They do not care about their employees or what they have committed to do for this company.
Rent-A-Center employees along the south east regions need to be aware that they are going around and firing people whom have been with the company anywhere from 10-30 years this month. No explanation just coming and ripping people’s lives apart that have dedicated their lives to this company and sacrificed precious time to their families are left without a job, no matter how much they have profited for the company. Watch out! Apparently no one is safe.

Reporting from FL... Our store is about to get an audit by a vice president on Tuesday. Ever since hurricane helene/milton, we haven't recovered... If I goto 60 houses in a week, only 3 or 4 answer... Our "Approval/Not Approved" system will approve someone who stole $3k of merch after it being "Skipped". This company is ONLY going belly-up. We haven't prosecuted since COVID, we lost whatever fear "RAC" had, the media or people often parody or mock us.
Previous messages about Mexico are wrong. They fired everyone in Mexico they have changed directions to Philippines from what I understand is acima is cutting costs and even eliminating Utah main office.
Wow, interesting view! I wonder if the old rac heads look at their situation in this way? Only time will tell...

Rac su-ks glad I left there recently.. They are trying to franchise as much as possible from what I've seen the new owners get rid of most the staff . So glad I left before they brought out all these stores. Not one single old employee left made it out just in time .. I remember credit was crazy when I left glad I didn't have to deal with that headache.. good luck to the new owners lmao
