Adobe is the master of "quiet layoffs"; basically letting people go after a mediocre performance review, but giving a compensation package. If they are re-organizing a department, they seem to prefer letting people go over trying to find them a place somewhere else in the 20,000 plus employee base. Going into 2026, they are cutting some benefits, so I suspect there will be layoffs, but you won't see a news story about it.
AI, DEI and Indian nepotism is what ki-led the company.
