@5tco+1vk1T97w, I agree and see this, people instead of learning and exploring they will steal others ideas and make you as proxy and show case your ideas, mainly SVP role people do this more because of lack of technical knowledge its unfortunate. D-mb Directors reach and rely on these SVPs and waste time. Thats why no one trust around people and do not share information.

Corporate America does not = secure. It's unfortunate but true. I have lost hope for this place. When I get a small glimmer of hope either my manager dashes it with their lies and promises of invisible promotions or my coworkers steal ideas and do hurtful things.

They think we are stupid and don't see the carrot on the stick they keep dangling to get the minions to keep producing. They try to chip away at your confidence, skills, and experience too. Division leaders say there will be promotions and managers say there will not.

All a bunch of crazies IMO. I'm over it. It's just a paycheck now until something better comes along. I just do my part (barely ☺) and go home.

Jesus people.

Forget Jane’s pay package for a minute and whether it’s justified. That’s beyond the point to the question that was raised. Which is died citi have better days ahead?

So do you agree or not agree with the moves? Personally I’m skeptical given our track record to close the valuation gap but to me they all made sense.

We couldn’t have operated bau. Shareholders and importantly regulators have lost patience

If you disagree / that’s fine but then what is your strategy?

How can you say Jane is trying to save the company? She took a huge increase in salary the same year we had a layoff. Someone who truly cared would reject a bonus\raise during the same year they approved a layoff. Jane, nope, not her, she’s laughing all the way to the bank.

So it's always been a $hitty company? There was a time about 4-5 year ago where I actually felt valued. I recall memories of bosses that I actually enjoyed and felt empowered. Those bosses are all gone. Run out or left on their own knowing how $hitty it had become. I wasn't always this way. And why are folks on here defending Jane? She's doing this all for stock bump. None of these changes are going to make the company better. They are making it worse. Morale is at an all time low, stock is low, production and earnings are low, revolving door of Sr management, None of that is a recipe for success. And all the while, while thousands of people lose their jobs, the remainder get shuffled around doing 3x the work to make up for those laid off, and bonuses and increases get cut, She gets multiple millions in a bonus. Don't kid yourself. Jane is in it for Jane. I predict it won't be long until the board tires of her lack of performance or she voluntarily takes her millions and leaves. Companies and CEO's like Citi and Jane are the main reason behind unbridled inflation. People's salaries are not aligned with inflation, they lose their jobs while CEO's are raking it in. Services are adjusted to offset the cost of her.

I have been here for 30 years and at least 8 CEO's. While jane might be making unprecedented moves, she's doing it to save the company. Sandy Weill was way worse, he was buying and selling senators and the company meant nothing to him. Those that survive will see a better day, but its going to be a painful few years if Drumph get into the White House

never feel safe as the other poster said

that being said. It's painful but Jane is making a lot of right decisions. we are taking our medicine. Just way too late...Citi needs to change dramatically or it's going to be tough to justify our existence given the amount of shareholder wealth we have DESTROYED.

you have one goal. survive. thats it. survive. Then re-assess
