Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Disgusting.

Once again, we’ll see the same ole, same ole, where Jane gets a significant bonus + raise and everyone else will get nothing. This coming up review rewards will be even worse if that’s even possible. The hammer has come down at a high level the rewards will be nil for the peons. Rest assured though, like in the past, Jane will still get hers.

Emails will be sent out to “come together” , “don’t focus on the present, focus on the future”, “don’t worry too much about what other companies are paying, just focus on your work”.

Post ID: @6qca+1vjichRp Your post is Hilarious! When one of the 2 Co-Chief Information Officers abandons the CitiTitanicShip and runs for the hills to another Bank only 3 weeks after he got "promoted" to Co-CIO, you know CitiTitanic is a hopeless cause and a sinking ship! Employees must cut their losses and abandon the CitiTitanic just like he did ! LOL!

Hard to have faith when the leaders head for the hills.

Like Mike W. said last fall to keep your head down and do your work. Then he left earlier this year. In tech they made 2 CIOs and the other guy ran for the hills to another bank last year. Hilarious! You can't make this stuff up. Citi is a joke and make changes that are thoughtless to make regs. think they are doing something. They're fake as heck.

Post ID: @1opz+1vjichRp It's illegal to force or place as a condition of employment the waiver of Employee rights to form a union, talk about forming a union, talk about better workplace conditions or better salaries.
Even if Citi or any Employer states in their Fvcken Handbook that the Employer is forbidding Employees from forming a union, comparing notes and talking about workplace benefits and that the employees' signature is consent and agreement to such illegal policies whether by email or hand signed, None of this is binding or legal and will NOT be upheld in U.S. Courts. The NLRB and CFPB will be all over such Crazy A$S BullSh!t Insanity in addition to thousands of Employment Employee-side Law Firms and their Class Action Lawsuits against Citi. Citi and other Employers will basically be inviting Lawsuits against them and bankruptcy resulting from the Lawsuits.

Citi is one of the worst employers in banking. Matter of time before management gets a taste of their own medicine.

Janes Pay 352 x the avg employee salary which is 66k, which is the 2nd HIGHEST in the industry!!! Equal pay for women??? Come on. Plus it would cheaper for someone to buy out Citi then the book value. Hello ANGEL INVESTORS!!! We need you

Jamie Diamond 354x 78k avg salary, 20 years of returns above peers. Jane? 0
Plus if you notice the difference in pay, that is the inflation we have experienced that Citi denies regular working people. Jane got 12%.... Anyone else get that?
The best part is Citi has economist that report and forecast inflation numbers, but HR could not care.
Warren Buffet 45x avg salary ... Jane is the biggest pig at the trough eating all and leaving nothing for her young. Why?? She is as greedy as a pig!!!!!
A manager at In and Out Burger makes 125k that is a kid that is 23 with no further education.
Walmart store manager 500k
McDonalds starting employee is over $18 and they pay full tuition and more and even better benefits then Citi.
Billions a quarter in profit but you do not care to even give scraps out to your workers.
Serfdom!!!
Not racial, or about politics or LBGTQ or anything else that would and does divide us!!
these are distractions for us not to focus on the big picture.
As Chuck D says "Don't Believe the Hype!!" it is a true distraction

Oh boy….now that you mentioned “form a union”, Citi will now slip into the employee handbook in small print that “you agree to not do such” and have you e-sign that you’ve both read and agree to the employee handbook.

I’d rather email the Warren commission who already has Citi under observation. Maybe its time for Jane to answer publicly as to why she gets huge raises and bonus’s while everyone else does not and are let go.

It’s time to form a union to protect workers and have a fair compensation program for everyone not just those at the top.

Total insensitivity. Town hall meetings are mere feel good shows for executives to talk about their high roller life styles with large homes and expensive hobbies while they ignore the thousands of employees actually doing the daily work. What value to the long term company do these people bring? Zero. Citi has lost its vision in focusing only on short term gains.

Its so easy to say “don’t worry too much about what other companies are paying” when you already live in the biggest house in the neighborhood, your kids already go to the best schools, you and your family already drive the latest model car. It show’s you the gap between those who rule from the ivory tower and those who tend to the crops and it shows you how out of touch they are and\or don’t care.
