Intel is too important
See, that’s where you’re wrong.
Intel is not important at all.
They can be completely replaced by more competent companies. That’s how capitalism works. Inefficient, bloated bureaucracies deserve to fail.
The only company deserves the aid is TSMC.
Intel is too important for US to let it fail. Washington should tie the funding to an Intel reset and a credible recovery plan. Have Pat present the plan to the congress and congress keep on tracking the money and the plan progress. I do not want my tax dollars to go to waste. I also want Intel to succeed.
