The LinkedIn posts with new hires are funny. Little do those CE’s know what awaits them, that may very well be the last time they rub shoulders with upper management. They will find out in the field, training in Peachtree is not the real world (2 breaks + lunch, 5 day workweek while in training) all that goes away once tasks start hitting ES Mobility and a 6 day schedule + AV is released by local TM.
Heard they are booking break fix CE’s to also do overnight installs same day after working 8+hrs. The Voyix CE’s are being used and abused.

Doesn’t look like layoffs are happening so far in November, nobody is reporting anything new.

Senior leadership, including Jeremy Thacker, Dave England and Evan Saltray could not give two sħïțs less about CEs. Their LinkedIn posts highlighting new hires and training are a smoke-screen to promote a culture that does not exist. Additionally they play favorites with middle managers (TM), giving their favorites greater approved headcount than their territory’s break/fix demand or scheduled install work calls for. On top of that they continued to cut headcount their unfavored middle managers, knowing that performance across all phases will suffer within the respective territory. Why you ask? This tactic enables them to manufacture a reason to add their unfavored middle managers on a short list for layoffs (because productivity data LOCA and SLAs are cr-p as a result of shorting the headcount within territory) CEs that are worried about their employment longevity should broach this with their TM. If your TM is on the East Coast and south of the Mason Dixon line, you’re a lock to be okay. If your TM exists in the Sunbelt east of El Paso, you’re okay…aka Jeremy and Dave’s favorites. Wish y’all well and happy holidays/peak season.

I just noticed that there's a posting for a TM covering BC and Washington so the whole fiasco about the position currently being held by someone in Serbia may be a temp fill in type of thing. As was previously stated, they already have people in Serbia basically acting as assistant TMs for day to day functions. It would only be natural to have them step in on an interim basis

Even before the split, I hadn't seen my last TM in person in years. And the times I did, it was for like the odd holiday/retirement get together or something. Very rarely for an actual business purpose. I remember that a group of us wanted an in person branch meeting with him to go over some things and he flat out refused. "I'm not driving down for that." Some techs, post split, have yet to even meet their new TM in person.

My past few TMs all had assistants that were in Serbia. They have the senior techs or their local favorites do anything on the ground that they need done locally. Everything else is done on conference calls and Teams.

So when the critical functions of a TM can basically all be done remotely, why are any of you really surprised? The execs are going to offshore as much work as reasonably possible. They've made that abundantly clear for many, many years.

The TM that was from over seas is the last man standing, he came from the UK, the TM let go was in Calgary, he was a tech in Calgary as well. Very well liked as far as I knew.

Who was that Canadian TM let go in Western Canada from voyix. Was it the person who used to live in UK and worked as a ce overseas and in Canada?

Voyix western Canada lost a great TM this week, long term tech promoted to TM, dedicated and loyal to the company in charge of all Voyix western Canaidian technicians and contractors was let go and now the CE’s were told they now report to a Serbian manager. Only one Atleos manager stands after all western Canadian NCR territory managers have Been let go. (There is quite a list)
The latest was quite a surprise, and the job of Voyix Western Canada Territory Manager is now held in Serbia, shows where Voyix is headed.

So there was Voyix CE layoffs? Interesting considering they are on mandatory 6 day workweek and on call for their “day” off.
To lay off CE’s sounds like Voyix will just go lean and give absolutely no care about work/life balance.

Those left need to slow down to a crawl running tickets and call out sick for install projects, Voyix needs to face backlash from customers due to the lack of headcount.

The execs need their holiday bonus money. The shareholders need the stock price to go up. For that, the layoff tradition continues. Can someone please arrange a holiday party in Serbia and post holiday selfies on linked in?

One of my long time coworkers and friends CE was let go today which was a big surprise. Voyix is at it again with these sudden layoffs. I’m not sure how many people suffered the same fate. If anyone is aware of how many people please comment. Only reason he would be let go is salary, there was no one experienced enough to take on his workload so good luck to the TM who let him go
