Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Third-quarter revenue of $13.3 billion.

A bit better than I expected.

We used to get hammered when margins dropped below 60%. This is crazy.

We’re trading at 23 and change.
Down from $60 when margins were good.
I think the market has spoken.

It wasn’t that bad - the big write downs hit hard but will be out of the math for q4 … particularly margins Will should get back to 40% ish quickly.

Gaudi is not getting adopted though , they admitted it will miss on the earnings call - eventually they will realise they have a dud there … but there is no plan B currently

They said they plan to cut costs by $18 billion by Q4, they are just getting started

The downward spiral.

Net loss of $16.6 billion with GAAP, net loss of $2.4 billion non-GAAP. Gross margin down to 18% from 38.7%. Also AMD had higher Data Center revenue than Intel... Revenue might have beat expectations, but everything else looks bad.
