I’m overworked and burnt out. My team has been in chaos since previous layoffs. All the workload left after people who were let go was shoveled on the rest of us. Mgmt can’t care less if we can manage it or not, they have just been pushing us to work harder. Unless I’m laid off soon, I’ll be forced to quit.

Do not quit unless you have another job first! If they lay you off, you'll get severance & unemployment. Don't walk away empty handed after all your hard work...especially in this economy. Hope it all works out for you.
You may get your wish and be replaced by AI, depending on your position. They are trialing some products. They are not very good and don't solve actual problems, but someone will force them through to have hype on their resume.
