I expected a major headcount reduction, because we have been steadily losing market share. I’m so sorry for all that are about to be affected in this round of layoffs. For the rest of us, I would stay vigilant. Better to be ready for more layoffs, and have other options lined up. I’m not sure the prospects of Dropbox will change any time soon, nor do I see the intent to.

Sorry to hear the news, if any one is looking for new roles in sales or wants to share their story please reach out…nodangerhelp@gmail
Another outsider. We have Dropbox in our enterprise- once we signed our e5 agreement w/msft we all got a terabyte as part of the licensing, dropbox made no sense any more. It will be hard for them to survive on the enterprise side
Outsider but not even sure what differentiates Dropbox from Google Drive or MS OneDrive. Those are usually included in a suite that a corporation would purchase and free (up to a limit) for personal use. Hard to compete against that.
