To my friends in AdvancedMD , I wish you all good luck and a better horizon. It has been announced that you have been sold to Francisco partners and the deal should close in December. Products that do not move the payments needle are next.
To my associates in other divisions, get ready for another cut. Several of our leaders were at meetings the last two weeks. It is not gonna be pretty. New metrics and Employee improvement plans are already being rolled out. Offices and usage are being reviewed. Expect visits. We will see what year end reviews look like. Can't wait to see what's in store for christmas.

Back in March Fortune Magazine said we were asking $3B for AdvancedMD but we sold it for $1.1B? Smart move or act of desperation?

I hate how things have felt the second half of this year. I don’t really agree with any of what is going on, but honestly this makes sense. AdvancedMD does not really align with the company. I have little hope that offloading this business unit will actually allow us to focus on the bigger issues, but we’ll see. Sounds like more than anything it is a money move to make our numbers look more attractive but as we all know that will be short lived. Very curious about next weeks town hall and what they have to say, if anyone will ask about a second wave of layoffs and if we will get an honest (ha!) answer.
I’d really be interested to see the company at large petition for Cameron to resign. Wishful thinking but he’s really sh-----g the bed.
