Unfortunately you have never worked as a drilling engineer, never planned or drilled a new well in your entire career, but since you have a career of FU's in completions, you are fully qualified to be promoted into this position. Congrats on the VP selection process for Expand Energy, which with your current management team, will file bankruptcy again because the Chesapeake leftover VP's know nothing about what they are managing and this causes much disrespect from the people on the front lines.

It appears that the good guys lose their jobs, the bad get promoted into management. Are all companies this FU or just Chesapeake?
I remember TB wanting to open up wells making sand telling me to engineer out the risk. I quit after hearing this nonsense.
I remember TB. I want to forget this POS.
This is just the tip of your generational curse iceberg.
Those two unqualified VP's are old drinking buddies and they tried to cover up the cause of the blowout because neither believed in company safety policies. They claimed with their report that nobody knew what caused it. . The cause was as simple as asking a home owner if he would change a faucet without shutting off the water. I feel sorry for the families that lost love ones in that blowout.
Take a look around at the entire management structure, it’s rampant. The completions VP is just as unqualified with a worse track record (Wendland blowout). A production manager that has an intern level aptitude and couldn’t run a field if his life depended on it. It all starts at the top. Unfortunately, we have a leader that had his management team already in place at his previous company and doesn’t have the first idea on how to build a team. Don’t even mention the CEO. Wasn’t he the previous CFO that financed the company straight into bankruptcy? Don’t you see now young’un- the more you fu-k up the better off your career will be here at Expand!
