As many are aware Kraft had originally outsourced Supply Chain to Genpact in Chicago. Now they decided to bring the roles back internally, this time sending them to Mexico and not back to the US office. This has really made me think who else is next? They seem to be super excited about the GCC expanding, but we all know they are just cutting costs by sending jobs overseas. So sad, this company used to be great to work for.

Same I work for a company that has a very long legacy much like Heinz Kraft. The problem is terrible leadership leads companies to this. I’m being outsourced to India and Mexico. The USA needs to wake up and either figure out ways to keep the jobs in the US or fleece out all the tech jobs to foreign countries and then realize the lack of common sense. You wonder why other countries get ahead, it’s because they outsource to foreign countries with no data protection controls and they lose IP! Absolutely insane, all the while American companies look like they save a buck in the short term. Train the American workforce, retain high performing resources, you will end up making out in the end - because Americans care!! The company I’m leaving will pay the price in the long term and I’m glad I won’t see it!!
There’s been a bunch of GCC roles with no description posted in India and Mexico, so something’s next, just not clear what.
GCC team is doing a better job frankly.
