It seems like Qualcomm is actually targeting its best employees instead of the low performers. The management is penalizing those who are well-paid despite knowing they're the most skilled ones in the company. It’s baffling to see such a disconnect. You’d think they’d want to reward the people doing a great job rather than punishing them.

List names of all departments and teams that has incompetent leadership or engages in biased treatment of a group of employees.
That’s not true at all, in my department. They laid off the poor performers. Stop spreading misinformation
SD CE modem team is worst. Lot of nepotism and shown doors to people who are hard working. The leads are so incompetent other than sitting in break rooms to drink coffee and lunch breaks not even sure what they do. Are they even capable of their titles? How can they justify their titles? Inspite of so many HR and ER cases why the leadership is not replaced. They are doing the business of clan and scapegoat few employees to show they are fair.

Q will never change. The disease has spread for far too long. If you can't tolerate it, pack up and leave. The rules of the game are firm.
Qs management mind set needs to change to respect ppl who are better than you, the mindset that if you are smart and good then you need to go should be changed. Q had good development in history doesn’t mean that can keep up with this type of mindset. Wo good ppl Q can only be number 2 or n. That’s very straight. Look at the principal engineers, directors, VPs, are those serious for a tech company? The skills is not more than some middle school students. And the management are so biased and favor stupidity to avoid better ppl than them self
The culture is toxic? Grow a pair and find a new job if that what you really think.
It strongly depends on who is friends with who. And who is a favorite of who.
Many high titles in gsoc are revengeful and push really good ppl out with red eyes and dark and dareless hand. Those so called high titles should all go to create healthy development of Q. Otherwise the only direction to go is corrupt.
It is opposite. Qs performance review is a joke. Layoff should focus on so-called high performance ones. Those ones are nothing but more binded than low score guys. Let go those high ones like lots of principal engineers, directors and senior directors, vps are right direction to go. Q has too many incompetent high titles.they are binded to corrupt Q.
My experience is the opposite. I see low performers shown the door along with some superstars who were near retirement and worked out a way to exit. The exception is the pure geoshift moves on some teams where everyone in HC is cut.
Always seems they miss the people they should get rid of! The culture is toxic and some people just need to go. Bad leaders that are mean (Rob) leaders that are negative and revengeful (Nina) and people that are incompetent (AP, HA, TS, etc…. ) long list here
