- A "Letter of Concern" was filed by Cisco Systems to the FTC and DoJ and has resulted in HPE/JNPR having to file additional materials.
- Much concern in the "White Room" regarding which sales leaders will be taking over in EMEA and NA. The current JNPR sales leaders seem to be on their way out (all levels).
- A US Senator has contacted the FTC and DoJ advising that the acquisition be delayed pending the election due to the current spend by the US Gov to both companies.

Leaders are now on calls talking about upcoming layoffs. Must be happening soon now.
We've been told 15th of November, but could be as late as the 30th, with the intention of all offers out by 1st of December. There won't be lay-offs so much as some people just won't get offers from HPE.
Rumor is that every thing is moved till February 2025.
Bazinga
BTW, any one can sign themselves Mist Man. I'm gonna do it now :-)
Cisco owns 64 percent of the market. There is no letter of concern. The merger isn’t raising antitrust concerns due to strong competition and similar AI capabilities among competitors.
This guy just sits around thinking about ways to stir up sh-t. Why can't we find any news about this 'letter of concern'? We're supposed to imagine that some db sales guy has secret information? C'mon people.
Too late Cisco. Why they waited 10 months?
Rumor is that every thing moved to the coming February.
Nice story
What’s the November 28th date? If it’s supposed to be the close date that’s a US holiday and seems pretty unlikely anything moves on that date.
Interesting & seems plausible. However comes & interim brand work continue to be worked on. All signs pointing towards a go. However, DOJ did hault MK & Coach acquisition due to impact on competition. 🤣👜😂
