Thread regarding Plainview layoffs

Trouble in Paradise

I worked for Planview for many years. The company wasn’t perfect, but made money, grew slowly, and managed to hire and retain great people. It was a good place. Until, the private equity firms came and squeezed out all ability to perform in order to increase revenue. It’s the same old thing, stop investing in the future, and sell the past to customers while promising a new future that will never come. Now, Planview has removed many of the people who could help in favor of moving jobs to India. Every quarter I hear about more strong Planview people being pushed out the door. A very good company is being seriously damaged by PE firms and an executive team who just done seem to know what to do, where to go, or how to get there. It’s a shame.
