Complete top would have to go, priorities would have to radically change, investments should have to be made into fields where the company can make breakthroughs and become competitive and sustainable, and it would have to take on instead of losing a more highly-skilled, innovative, competent and therefore expensive workforce. Basically, it would need not to be Intel.

A failure to capitalize on its unique position in the market, souring relationships with business partners, and tragic leadership.

Yes. Intel is an outdated company based upon their single X86 architecture. They need a complete makeover to service multiple markets and customers.
I agree - the old Intel is now broken and irrecoverable- it needs to start again , as shocking as that sounds
