Raising this from a sub-comment to a topic: with all that’s going on, RTO, work conditions, ongoing impacts, etc, I keep reading posts that Dell pay is low. Is there data to prove this? Is anyone willing to share their functional area, location, years of experience and pay here?

The I level doesn't tell the whole story. The job title matters and can have significantly different ranges.

"dont take uk pay and compare it to usa - u'll always be disappointed"
In the US Dell/EMC looks at the median income and cost of living for the state you live in when deciding starting pay. Just comparing pay for different states will leave you disappointed, if you're from a state with lower cost of living. Same job on the east coast might start $20k higher than in Utah.

Benefits are average also. Not bad, not great, just right to keep them competitive
Dell aims for the middle. You won't be underpaid but don't plan on getting rich
I need about $500,000
Anyone from India care to post their salary?
so we've established that most of the posters on this site are from Ireland or UK

Remember that HR's job is not to pay you what you are worth, but the minimal amount to keep you from leaving (or to encourage you to leave).
The longer you are at a company the more they feel you are trapped and hence will reduce raises because they feel you will stay regardless.
If you need to ask, good chance is that you already know the answer.

If this is true then you're being severely underpaid.
i9s in the US should be clearing 200 base.

Very curious if this is low, mid or high range. Can a manager share ranges?"
You were well above me. I got laid off in Aug but was I9 172 base. FML
I’m an i8 in Ireland, base pay is 80k. What is the bracket for i9 in Ireland?
For USA FAANG pays a lot more. that is not even up for debate.
even tier 2 and tier 3 companies have more competitive pay.
If it only stopped there. Dell has terrible perks and benefits as well.

I7 Europe. 65k. Low-ish.

if 82k is all in, its above avg. if u get car allowance on top (89-90k comp), its very above avg.
I9, $135k, 15% bonus. Think I’m the lowest paid i9 in US, definitely underpaid in my org compared to others.

If you have been at Dell a long time and/or during the right times (97-2000) your pay is likely much more than the current CenTex market. At least Dell does compensate folks for their misery.
