Is everyone ready for the annual January layoff? Any thoughts on who gets hit the hardest or what departments will be targeted?

Insider selling Wayfair stock.
You heard? You heard it from where or who?
Yeah, sounds like just fear mongering. It is a scary time when looking back at the past several years. So we need to do better at not making everyone more scared if we don’t have real facts. And Wayfair needs to do better at not treating us like disposable numbers
January 15th is a Wednesday. Doesn’t sound like a reliable “source”.
Proof? Wayfair stock price is DOWN vs. the same time last year, and despite Niraj’s adjusted-EBITDA gaslighting, the company is still unprofitable. Each of the last two years there was a layoff on the third Friday in January. What exactly do you expect to happen?…
Heard Jan 15 how? Do you have any sort of prove or details, or just adding to the rumor and fear for everyone
I’ve heard Jan 15th, get ready.
The entire digital team that handles sales emails was given severance. That is now handled by an offshore team. I think all of digital is in trouble. The offshore agents handling chats/SMS are getting better rev than US agents.
JSL is taking over everything, everyone's job is at risk especially the ticket teams and customer service. JSL is now doing the calls and training up their supervisor team to take things over.
They will go after Care, they have frontline managers handling help desk and next thing for them to do is handle their teams escalations.
All Hands Meeting 1/22 that’s either day of announcement or day after.
The fact they are switching L1 pay from every two weeks to every week… seems like a sign they will let a bunch of frontline go
Last few months it feels like they are on a Witch hunt. We feel like they are looking for reasons to fire us instead of waiting for planned Layoffs. Tons of tech issues also effect our metrics. That too saves Wayfair money.
I wonder how the offshore agents are faring being on the phone
CARE will be hit hard.
Eventually ALL our jobs will be overseas. It's cheaper for the company to not pay American wages. 2025 will see a huge American Job loss with Wayfair. It's all about the MONEY.
Frontline digital and B2B. Offshore teams are ramping up on calls.
