You take your most worthless engineers, the ones that don't have a clue about the oil and gas industry and separate them into categories to find the most immoral, you know, the ones that will lie and steal and cheat on their wives, then you promote them to VP. That describes TB, DL, and DE.

It's a Christmas miracle! We've managed to gather an impressive collection of failed politicians, average engineers, and comedians who bombed their sets (but are still funny in their own minds). Our Drilling and Completions departments are a hot mess, with meetings that drag on longer than a Netflix show, lunches that last longer than a romantic comedy, and "proof of concept" deals that are just fancy ways of saying "I owe you a favor."
But the real MVP (Most Valuable Puppeteer) is our fearless leader, Nicky. He's like a superhero with a magic crystal ball that shows him all the shenanigans we're getting up to. And with his trusty crystal ball, he's able to see through all the BS and still manage to keep a straight face. It's a talent, really. That's why he's the CEO – because who else could put up with all this nonsense?
They can change the name but the bad reputation continues because with the same old incompetent, corrupt, and immoral leaders, you still have everything that was wrong with Chesapeake now affecting Expand.
