I've followed all the advice usually given on how to prepare for being laid off. I polished my resume, networked, and even sent out a few job applications. Saving has been a priority, and I tightened my budget in the past couple of months. I've kept my skills sharp, too. But even though I’ve checked all the boxes, I still feel completely unprepared if the worst happens. I’m still stressing over it every single day. I don’t think you can ever be truly prepared.

It's a tough market. But you need to apply and get the fu-k out of Fiserv if you have any will power left. Don't ruin your life being complacent here.
Your best bet is to find a good recruiter. Just signed an offer and putting in my notice on Monday.
I was part of the rif in November. You'll never be prepared, but you'll live. Update your resume, make contact with folks you trust, ride out the storm. Things might or might not get better but work on things within your control. Good luck and you're not alone.
I understand. I’m really trying to focus only on what I can control. I honestly think they want to continue to use whatever as a pretext to cutting. I’m trying to make peace with it. But I understand.
