He’s a total dou--e bag … kept all his friends around when firing their organisations ; fu---d Jo acquisitions , well over sold this cloud pipe dream … talks a game , but is full of BS. Like the others though , he’s mega rich , and will ride off into the sunset laughing at the rest of us.

All agree that GL has just shown us books, t-shirts for past 3+ years of quarterly.
Complaining about lack of sleep, holds all garbage entities that Intel buys as AI acquisitions...sells them of pennies to the dollar.
Latest fiasco is that Seeker the one only AI customer for IDC, MF and GL...has left Intel and now running with AMD.
Only a mater of time till SATG gets shut down...since the savior has left and GL is out on a limb.

@jto Absolutely correct. No question.

The full hash table is:

dict = {‘MJH’: ‘Shemp’, ‘DZ’: ‘Moe’, ‘CP’: ‘Larry’, ‘GL’: ‘Curly, wearing a hairpiece’}

They were clearly ranking CTOs based on their resemblance to a color.

Greg is a nearly perfect match with lavender.

Greg is a big talker. His value to Intel is negative. He hired some pretty bad people (you remember Fernando and his monetization mission. he was Greg’s COO - whatever that means). Greg promoted all those SSG people who already were given titles and promos by prior regimes beyond their capability and delivery level. Anil corp VP, other grade 12 to 13 VP. Joe, raj promoted to VP. He had them hire more employees as if these people were capable of hiring and managing good people.

SSG and Intel labs are full of fellows, VPs who knew maybe something in 1990s, they have outdated knowledge, they do lame presentations for things like TSLRP. Have you ever seen a TSLRP presentation? Some of the worst marketing junk I have ever seen. These are presented to ELT after a year long preparation. When I saw TSLRP presentations first time, I understood how d-mb Intel management must have been to sit and listen to them or even let this charade happen year after year.

But I had never heard senior fellow anthropologist in a high tech company either before Intel. When you are a successful monopoly you can call anyone anything you want. You can call a monkey a fellow. Who cares. Senior fellow anthropologist had nothing but her upbringing in Australia to talk about in almost all her presentations and everyone at Intel ate it up. It felt surreal.. She is not even a good anthropologist. Also People who know know she is one of the most insecure, nastiest individuals I have ever seen and they thought at Intel she was a diversity champion. Just follow the recent news about her in Australia. She apparently told her new staff in this stupid university in Australia (how else a normal academic institution hire someone like her unless they are d-mb as--s ) that she will hunt them down … is it surprising. No. Intel’s d-mb people and culture elevated people like her. There are more incompetent, terrible people like her who left intel to move to even bigger roles in other companies, cfo at … etc. If you know you know…

Being Pat's buddy is what got Lavender the job. With Pat out, his Intel days are numbered.

Greg is like jabba the hut with limp biscuits in intel ready to get on their hands and knees to shine his tail. A true story.

I left Intel 4 years ago. I am in a smaller company. We nominate people for awards so I do know how these work. All the rewards are based on money the company pays and nothing to do with the person. Intel, for publicity, paid huge amount for Greg to be in the list. Same thing about NVIDIA. NVIDIA CTO has no influence on the NVIDIA products. He came with Mellanox acquisition and is a ceremonial CTO. Only difference is NVIDIA CTO has done some good work before Mellanox was acquired by NVIDIA and Greg is a total slob wasting Intel's money.

So we all agree this is legitimate right? Clearly he or we bought this for him in some manner or fashion. We are all on same page here. We should all lambast the author of this article

Lavender, along with Gelsinger, arrived to Intel from Vmware, the most Operationally F'd company I've ever experienced

This fat fu-k acquired Granulate and shut them down after spending 600mil. He then created a stupid OCTO SATG and IT groups that failed. Looks like a fatter more obese less active version of Humpty Dumpty but sure, he is top 5.

Yes. Greg has funds available through the PR budget to do as he pleases. Great recognition for his service to Intel and it's employees

A little known tip: There are real media outlets and then there are PR media outlets. The difference is that PR media outlets will print anything you pay them to print.
