Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

REASONS BEHIND FAILURE

I left the Company in 2013 due to age discrimination(yes-that occurred in SC )AFTER working for them 12 years-the main issue was that WALGREENS was sold by the family
to an aggressive management group headed by Greg Wasson -the BOD guaranteed him a salary of 11 MILLION DOLLARS plus stock, etc. WE immediately lost raises, bonuses, etc,
so this GREEDY individual could claw back anything. My tech hours were cut; the WASSON began eliminating the highly compensated employees! We should have filed a class action lawsuit; we were too fed up! Their corporate goal changed from offering exceptional care to our patients to making Mr. Wasson FAT. I predicted in 2013 that they would fold in 15 years due to mistreatment of customers & staff. Wasson was FIRED in less than 1 year from EMBEZZLING from WBA! Guess that I should have been a Prophet! ANY FOOL should realize their management structure was not sustainable.
today they are BEGGING for employees!!

Neal is current version of Wasson. This company is cursed with crooks in leadership.

Wasson made a deal with himself. When heading Walgreens, he hired his own company to install worthless cooler doors.

Then Wasson made a deal with Pessina. Wasson would allow Pessina to buy Walgreens using Walgreens money to do so. Pessina took control of Walgreens and Walgreens paid Pessina to do so.

Wasson received kickbacks and cuts for selling us all out.

The decline of Walgreens definitely started with Wasson. How did that lawsuit he had going with Walgreens for those stupid cooler doors where you couldn’t see the merchandise turn out?
