I never heard that come out of his mouf.
So you mean when he says "layoff", he means layoth ?
Ever notice how CEO pronounces words that end in "th" as if they ended in an "f"?
If not, listen closely next time. With = wif, both = bof, growth = growf. This guy does not look like a CEO or speak like a CEO...
I simply stopped comparing AVGO to QCOM. AVGO/Hock Tan's initiatives are already yielding revenues and boosting profit margins. Q leadership, since past 6 years has been promising profits, but has not been delivering. Last significant achievement was 5G and it turned out to be a dud.
If you saw the investors conference, when CA speaks you know he is lying from how his voice changes pitch. AP became defensive. ND was reading off a script with the body language of a 6th grade introvert. AK, well, everyone knows the sales numbers. DM began with a lecture going back decades. Hock Tan is talking about his current sales numbers, his customers and increased revenues and at the avenues of the revenues. Case closed.
Well, I ended up comparing...didn't I...sorry...sort of...
Compare stock performances of Broadcom vs QCOM : 2 different types of company cultures
I encourage people to listen to HOCK conference call and compare that with our d-mber and d-mber CEO CFO. CA ypu said you do not get why investor crapped on the stock the day after ypu opened your silli mouth? Download hock interview and run it in a loop till you and your d-mber cfo undetstand the reason. I hope you read this post CA.
Point made here isn't about investment, it's about a public semi company's performance. Poor performance means uncertainty, layoffs etc and leaders need to be hold accountable
Qualcomm is not that type of stock. Just look at the entire history of Qualcomm stock. You need not hold onto Qualcomm stock either.
Why just not buy marvell, tsmc, micron, brcm whenever Q rsu's vest? You already paid taxes on vested rsus so zero additional charges to reinvest. Simple?
