Fido bonuses and raises

Fidelity pays in December instead of our March madness. They are seeing zero bonuses and small raises across divisions. A few are getting bumps but they are lower paid to start.

Hope we are better. But expect bad news and be happily surprised is better than expecting a nice deposit and getting bupkis.

Commitments made?

Mandates dictated. And if they want to take a 73% bonus and make it zero I bet a lot of people are money ahead not coming in.

False, I'm seeing a lot of high performers being let go due to being too expensive and non-yes men. Seat-warmers are the ones who get to stay.

Yeah if you are considered HIGH PERFORMING & grade level 60 or below then you can expect a 2 % to 3% merit raise. Also everyone getting that merit increase should be grateful for the generosity.

As far as bonuses, leadership is currently working hard on messaging that employees who have NOT adhered to the mandates imposed (aka “commitments made” )should plan to receive $0 in bonus.

It won't surprise me if you weren't hitting the required time in office, your going to get hosed. Hearing way too many senior leader comments about adhering to , to not think this will be the case.

It's tough when there is not consistently across locations (and even within teams) where fully remote is still an option in some locations but not others. But it's not an argument that will get you anywhere...

So I fully expect someone will be surprised they get a 0-50% bonus payout, despite multiple warnings.

But insane for Fido to go 0% raises, they had done that before (2004ish), but doing so in such a strong equity mkts is loco.

No surprise. Abby is like Chuck. Billions and took a big raise as people lost jobs.
