Looks like one of the Sams here in MVille is getting a bump to Canon Europe. Any update on which Americano will be taking that open slot or will it be an expat?

This company is awful. Every employee is miserable. Nobody wants to be there. The moment 5pm comes 90% of the office runs for the doors like they’ve just been released from prison.
Unfortunately there aren’t many corporate jobs on Long Island and for that reason people stay to collect a (subpar) paycheck. And the people who are actually motivated and try to make a difference at the company get their hands slapped for not just saying “yes Mr expat. Thank you Mr expat.”
The qualifications for career growth and promotions at Canon are not merit based. They are based on the following:
(1) are you an unqualified and clueless expat that has no business in a leadership role?
(2) can you kiss a-s better than anyone else?
If the answer is yes to either of those, you will do very well at Canon.
