A year later, give or take 3000 jobs, $30 millions of dollars in proxy fight, millions in fees for the fiber review, $300 million + in cost savings, shutting down offices, and the stock is right back to where it was when the fiber review started. And we are still pending the infamous results or showing how great our assets are. Maybe it wasn’t JB fault after all.

$95! Might have to fire everyone and close all the offices soon.
The business model is fine. Shareholders just want immediate high yield profits as opposed to 2-5%. Sure you can say Crown overpaid for the acquisitions, but that doesn’t mean the business model itself is bad being it is currently profitable
Microwaves have significant drawbacks and are only used when alternative options aren't available. Copper was used before fiber. Fiber is needed now but that doesn't change the fact that enterprise fiber is a bad business model at Crown.
Small cells and towers both rely on sales
Yeah fiber is far more important for towers now than it was before Crown got into the fiber business
“that fiber can be provided by companies other than CCI as it originally did”
Hate to break it to you, but towers didn’t essentially “require” fiber until somewhat recently. Microwaves were/are widely used as an alternative solution for backhaul, but they’re starting to become obsolete due to LOS requirements becoming more and more inconvenient, along with the sheer amount of data transfer needed nowadays
Towers is dependent on 3 customers.
Small cells and towers also depend on land.
Tower and small cell depend on fiber, that fiber can be provided by companies other than CCI as it originally did.
Cell towers and small cells are also dependent on electricity.
Small cell sites are technically a variation of traditional cell towers and are 100% dependent on fiber to connect them to the network. Cell towers also dependent on fiber.
I work for a telecommunications infrastructure company
Did they say they didn’t? What’s the purpose of saying “you work for a tower company” in regards to this post.

Hope they sell us Fiber Guys before they sink!
