The town hall was the definition of lack of humility. The 4 comments paraphrased, that I come back to. BS, the executive team worked tirelessly (wouldn’t have to if you included informed people). BS, Google other companies and see that they also lay people off (that should make people stay?) DW, we must double in size, really? How. Are we changing the thresholds for new investments. New found capital to deploy and take risks? SL, we are above market on severance and at market for pay (no you’re not) and any comments that come remotely close to insinuating we are people first. Please, you should look for new people if you think we really believe that

I didn't eve join so thank you for posting this. It seems it fulfilled my expectations of empty words, consultant scripted messaging.
It is truly shocking the amount of institutional knowledge that is walking out the doors. and the logic by which decisions were made. Some truly amazingly capble and proven individuals were let go while some yes-men/women who a great brownnosers and posturers got to stay.
Time to get rid of you cargill stock in your retirement plan. next year they may have a spike because of how much cost they took out however it will be a sugar rush that will come back down crashing.......competition will be running circles around us....

My personal favorite moment was Sikes' fake tear at the beginning. Not a tear because lots of good people lost their jobs. A tear for the ELT who had to decide who to lay off. Boo hoo!
