And they ones that keep doing the things that previously failed, but think it will be different. I have worked on something for months that failed two years prior after explaining why it failed before. Once they make their case, they refuse to back down. What a waste of time, money and good faith.
if intel cut 100k managers and hired the 100k samsung mgrs intel would be better off.

The competition is watching what is happening to Intel and shoring up their own organizations to protect themselves from the same demise. Samsung figured out a big problem. Too bad Intel never saw it. I've commented on this site multiple times that the real problems are in grades 11-14. Most of these people have been here forever and refuse to try anything new... copy exactly cycle after cycle. Now it is garbage in, garbage out. Just because it worked once doesn't mean that it is the answer for everything forever.
