After overseeing 70% drop in Walgreens stock price this year, these guys are selling the company on the cheap!! Tim is incapable of turning the company around. So the easy thing to do..... sell the company. Sad.....
Tim and Neal will make their millions with a Walgreens sale. Us regular employees... we are sc--wed.

Yes T sux- but his absurd pay is minimalistic compared to Roz Brewer’s. Disgusting.
Walgreens has been a dumpster fire for quite awhile now. Nothing new.
The company is a disaster because it has poor leadership. A bunch of incompetent people who are here to make easy money.
I'm only a few months into working for corporate... this company is a disaster. I'm already looking for other jobs. Unreal.
If selling the company was the goal, leaders were lying to us all along. Turnaround stories were all bullsh-t.
If selling was the only objective, did we need to hire a CEO with $13M annual pay package???? That too with expensive sidekicks like Neal???
If successful turnaround was the goal, such pay packages make sense. Any id--t can sell the company and walk away.
Tim wasn't known for turning around anything. All he was known for is selling off failing companies because it's much easier to make it someone else's problem than to actually turn it around under his management.
Now we know why Neal brought his friends to Walgreens. Give them stock grants, sell the company and make millions overnight. What a terrible way to exploit a company for personal gain. Sad the company management ended up with crooks like Neal
These guys did not do sh-t to turn the company around. All they know is to sell companies, pocket their millions and walk away. They did that at Express Scripts too.
You would poach a CEO in retirement based on his capabilities/experience on turning a company around (Signa, Express Scripts). Anyone can go out and sell a company to Private Equity, WAG didn't need Tim for that
Neil was actually hired to come in and "save the company" and lead a turnaround. Having a company ripped apart by consultants and PE firms was not my idea of a savior.
I think that was the whole point of hiring Tim. Why else would you poach someone who was in retirement
This has been a controlled demolition since SP came on the scene.
