I think most of us get what the game plan Bill switched to a couple of years ago. What is unbelievable is the shareholders allowing this to happen without revolting over the lack of performance. Why have none of the major shareholders applied enough pressure for real change not the cosmetic nonsense that Bill has done. It makes no sense in an era where activist shareholders normally push for real change and that usually means top leadership.
They dont care about the bank return. They can maintain the stock price w buybacks and then sell once everything is liquidated and clean for a windfall. Thats the plan, so unless you know how to stop them from sc--wing everyone, no reason to discuss. Kelly is on linkedin, you should let him know that he is a sleaze.
5 year cumulative return on TFC as of yesterday is MINUS 16.5%. This alone should get Biil, Beau and Joe removed and half the BOD as well. Why have shareholders not revolted and demanded a change in executive leadership? SMDH
5 year cumulative return on TFC as of yesterday is MINUS 16.5%. JP Morgan up 78%; PNC up 28%; Bank of A up 33%; fifth third up 50%; s&p up 91%; heck even Citi is only down 6%. Adjusted for inflation we went from filet mignon with loaded baked potato to na--d steak-um’s with nothing left for the Ore-ida’s.
Imagine blending maroon and orange to make purple (possibly the most overused color of our day), creating a name no one (NO one) likes or understands, saving $1.6BB in annual expenses by cutting building maintenance and offshoring jobs rather than truly creating efficiencies and a better client/employee experience, literally suggesting literally planting literal seeds in every dirt patch in America to sprout ‘hope’, preaching about goodwill, random acts of kindness, and purpose while laying off or selling a THIRD of your employees, and running off deep talent for posers likes J and B.
Yep. I’d keep that model under wraps, too.
What other firm celebrates mergers after 5 years - none so this must be another joke of a posting
Would you celebrate your anniversary if you were stuck in a cr-ppy marriage? Probably not. Same situation here, nothing to celebrate. If you are like me, you just hope to keep getting paid until something better comes along.
I was really hoping for another sticker
They celebrate every time they look at their financial statements
