Except for the higher management, for which we already received email informing about their new role (higher position) and new location.
So they fire a lot of people and then reshuffle higher management so they don't have to face those who are left ?
Also, how is it possible that the higher management already knows they won't be fired in June ? 😗

Tons of inept "leaders" have been shuffled or promoted - just a bunch of yes men.
Left over 9 years ago when I saw the writing on the wall for IT. The grass is greener if you can beat out AI for the job. Job market really su-ks for IT but hope the new president has solution. Good luck everyone.
Will there be more firing anytime soon after being part of call where it was told your roles are confirmed in new structure?
This bothered almost more than being laid off: the incompetent VP of my previous organization was retained and ended up in a higher position when he’s been ineffectual and actually made things significantly worse in the last 2 years. I’m actually so relieved to no longer work for him or a company that promotes and rewards his leadership style and behavior.
