Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

If all entities will be affected, why haven't they touched Cargill Bioibdustrial and BOSC?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that those two businesses/ functions are not harmed by this wave of layoffs.

I was in BOSC - my entire team and supporting teams are gone. I don't know why you think BOSC didn't get hit.

They're likely to divest the business is my guess. Anything in the 'special products' platform other than ANH is probably for sale.

I am also in BioIndustrial and we were impacted. Some businesses were more strategic in their changes than others, ours being one. We reduced positions through a RIF in March, and cut positions throughout the year with the hiring freeze. We also did a significant restructuring before 2030 was announced.

Central BOSC no longer exists, so to say that wasn’t impacted is ignorant.

At least post factually if you are going to post at all.

BOSC was obliterated.

I am in Bioindustrial, we most certainly were affected. It does seem like we were affected less than other businesses though, I think to an extent that might be because we did a small downsizing earlier this year where a few positions were eliminated/not backfilled.
