Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Why most of other websites praised Pat a lot but here looks most people don't like him?

Everyone said he is the savior of Intel, and Intel should fire BoD and get Pat back. Seriously what happened?

People are fake on sites that aren't anonymous. Many feel that if they praise management and act interested, it'll give them a leg up. People come here to be real and vent their frustrations. It's a place to say what's really on their mind w/out repercussions. Post their fake take on LinkedIn, come here say what they believe is real.

He used his big mouth to blow up TSMC preferencial pricing. I'm befuddled how he rose through the ranks. Must give good head

Pat's plan was to spend $100B in a market where there are only 4 real customers. All the MSFT's, AMZN's and Ericsson science projects will not fill or pay for cutting edge fabs. Only AAPL, NVDA, AMD and QCOM can. And what'd you know it, Pat insulted most of the Big 4 ("AAPL is a lifestyle company", "NVDA is lucky", "AMD in rearview mirror" etc.)

All in all, pretty clueless and terrible business acumen.

PG isn't the only bad decision that Intel has made. His belief that Intel could spend its way out of its problems was flawed from the start. There is a long list of reasons why companies don't want to work with Intel. Building multiple new fabs when you can't fill the existing isn't going to draw in customers. Intel doesn't even rely on its own manufacturing processes to build its own hardware so why would anyone else have confidence to use Intel foundry. Intel needs to focus on surviving and abandon the nonsense that regaining industry leadership is only one process generation away. I realize that expecting self reflection from a group that is largely comprised of arrogant a$$es is unlikely to happen. Intel and the Democratic party are alike in many ways but the main similarity now is that both of them are wondering what just happened...

It is so amazing that after deteriorating to this extent, there are so many people still refuse to face the reality. Do you want to see the "savior" back to finish the job?
