This was a scam to sell investors on the technological capability of Intel. 2878 has been in development since 2014. Unless it was demonstrated that these nodes were at manufacturing yields that could make money this was a beautiful PowerPoint slide. This should now longer be shown anymore. Throw this sh-t in the trash and "STAY IN YOUR LANE"

Each node has performance, yield, and cost targets. The question to Ann is what the targets were and if she met those targets consistently every time she claimed those were done.
It always took 5 years to rollout one node. To go faster than that you would have to get all teams to replace managers with the few left who remember how to build a factory when managers were hired specifically over the last 20 years to stop building new factories.
5N4Y is Pat's marketing, boasting and rebranding. It is a SCAM. A lot of engineers know it is a SCAM, but if you say it is un-achievable, you will get fired. In fact, people who said the truth has been fired back in 2021 by Ann. It is the fairy tale - Emperor's New Clothes.
The manufacturing issues go way back before Pat's time. People were just singing glory and it has come to a halt. Intel had been bluffing for a number of years. The news is that the yield is very poor to be meaningful. But the higher ups sold this anyway. That's willful and definitely awful to communicate to the public. You can fool for some time but not all the time.
