Confirmed with previous IT Rep that yes, all Fiserv managers have the capability to remote into your computer and view what you are doing during the day. They also have the ability to view your MS Teams, messages and calls. Just wish they were honest about it. Now I know.

Why do you think they want everyone in an office? A paranoid obsession to watch every move we make
Yeah, they can poke and prod on their equipment at a level we've never seen before. That's just how it is. Don't perform a single non-business activity on company equipment - not so much as "Do you want to get some lunch?" Nothing.
Thankfully, folks have their own devices for personal activities such as voice, email, browsing, and so forth. Using company equipment is just silly.
Typically managers watching employee screens is for contact center type roles. Not your typically Sales person or FTS employee.
This isn’t true. Previously was a manager.
Managers do not have the ability to remote on to your computer, but your activities are logged, and your teams messages are archived. I know this because i had a person conspiring to leave with another colleague and they were sending fiserv proprietary information to their personal email accounts. Firstly they were d-mb enough to do it, secondly they talked about it on teams and thirdly why do some people think they are smarter than the machines in a digital age.
Even though this was ultimately a criminal offense, a judicious outcome was reached.
So yes, primarily for the protection of the company these logging and monitoring mechanisms exist.
They do watch. And they know you don’t do anything at all….
Don't you wonder why your computer is so slow? It is running all the sh1t in the background.
No. Not all managers have this ability. I am a manager, and obviously have to have meetings with other managers, and none of us have this ability. That being said, there are departments that absolutely all the managers have this ability to some degree. Also keep in mind that even though not all managers can do this, the org as a whole can absolutely do this to a large degree. It can require a request from legal to make it happen, and you often times won't know about it. So it's best to remain cautious either way.
In the end your direct manager usually doesn't have much power or authority above and beyond you. Sadly being a manager here, especially mid-level, just means you volunteer to be a punching bag and patsy for upper management for a couple grand more a year.
Yes. Thought this was common knowledge. Don't use the work computer for personal matters. Don't have conversations via email or IM that you wouldn't repeat out loud in a room with your own mouth. What does this even need to be said??
Saying it here before the bots come on….there will be people who defend this, the vast majority of whom never had to deal with this due to the technology not being present during their early and middle career. They do not care about your issues, they have blinders on and you cannot count on them to be rational. Don’t bother engaging with them.
