Oh wow, I am still basking in the get-rid-of-all-the-Deer-Park-people glow, chopping out a bunch of worthless Brits seems like just too much to hope for. Who is going to soak up all the expat jobs in Iraq and Oman?

I would imagine they will implement a much simpler structure with everyone reporting up to asset managers and no separate discipline lines etc.
Re-org straight after the deal and then when that’s done aim to sell it all off to a smaller operator.

There will be major restructuring taking place to size the organisation to comparable non super major businesses. It will start in June next year and would be the last opportunity to get Shell severance.

Going by media releases...seems like Equinor is taking the lead ?
