Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

For those hoping things will change with Frank gone

They will not. They will probably become worse. The general direction of the corporate world has been quite clear for a while. They’ll easily find a replacement as inconsiderate, incompetent and brutal as any previous guy, who will just continue with the established money extraction schemes, probably with added twists and ideas along the same lines. All I expect to change in the near future is for the workforce to become even less valued than it is now. They evolve, we devolve.

My guess is they already found a replacement. He’s the JP Morgan guy on the public-facing exec page bottom right (TG) and was likely hand-picked by FB…

You are right. It will get very, very difficult. If he is replaced by someone from banking business, get accustomed to how they do business. I’ve read they lay off the bottom 25% of performers each year around the holidays.

I’m going to stop wasting time here, work hard and make sure I’m not in that 25% like most of you losers.

Good luck to you older employees as you probably won’t be competitive in todays job market.

“It's déjà vu all over again”

That's been the general trend since the late 1990's

We will be fine if we get someone under the age of 50.

The market is also in the toilet. Layoffs picking up and they're always "revised".
