Drain the swamp!
Why the fu-k do you care how many are left? There's two things here in case you haven't noticed. #1 the ship is sinking this company is nose diving deep into private equity everglade swamp. #2 while sinking, CSG is pushing employees off either starboard or port side for those who can't leave on their own. If you haven't noticed, those of us left at CSG, we're the band left playing music while the Titanic meets its bottom demise. .
These numbers look very low. Citrix has more than 10k employees when it was public. Wikipedia shows 9600. GetGo (Citrix Online) had 1600 employees when it was spun out. Which leaves Citrix with about 8400.
Is it possible that they cat more than half after going private?
If that number for the Citrix bu is correct then it’s way way lower now. Whatever about the cuts, don’t overlook the outsourcing of support. That must be close to 1k in total just between those cut and those shipped to HCL
I was told by a former VP that the Citrix BU was down to 1,600. This was as of early 2024. Since there were some layoffs since then, the number is probably lower now.
You won't get an accurate count. 3500 was last number I remember seeing. But that might have been just a Citrix number not including tibco. That's actual employees not contractors.
Can't imagine it being much more than that.
