The University of New Orleans announced a major restructuring Thursday, including consolidating some colleges and reducing the number of high-level administrators, as officials look for new ways to bridge a $15 million budget deficit.
The latest actions add to cutbacks that the university’s new president previewed in May, including the elimination of some positions and the closing of some academic buildings.
