- Force RTO - let people quit -good riddance
- Use monitoring tools already in existence to fire the people sitting in fake meetings, etc. and not working while home
- Layoff through performance management -around 20k
- Remove middle management levels and GR 10, 11 projects managers
- Get intel to 60k HC

The company should have gone RTO along with the other tech companies.
That would be an easy and cheap way to weed out those who are just collecting a paycheck.
When you see the company go back to WFO (work from office), that is a sign that the company is getting more responsible management.
There are no bad employees, just bad managers.
You manage what you measure and the simplest thing to measure is if people are actually contributing to the company, or are they playing with their kids, walking the dog, sleeping, raiding the fridge..
Far past time to stop this plandemic nonsense and get back to work.
Anyone who WFH needs to kiss their bosses a-s since they still have a gig. If you can remote, you can remote from anywhere. And can be replaced from anywhere.
Your overpriced salary may just get outsourced to Africa with a Starlink module.
RTO should have been for all employees a year ago.
VSP is just the trash taking itself out.
@okc The retirees are the ones who built intel, you are just a johnny come lately.
Fu-k the retirees they got us into this mess. They whole career and life’s work was to destroy an American institution. They ki-led a brand name then have the audacity to expect praise for a career/job well done. They should all shut up and disappear in shame
- Deport the Chinese and Indian h1b's that have stalled company innovation
As a PM, the biggest issue I see is that even after getting pummeled in the last VSP/ISP, there are still a large number working on one, maybe 2 projects. And duplicative work is still happening with multiple PMs assigned to the same project. Why? Makes no sense. Meanwhile some other PMs like myself are rolling with 10+ projects. And the new sr director is looking at ways to, you guessed it, add another layer of management.
You can have 0 employees if you can’t innovate and make products that people want.
@OP all good points. We have too much garbage in middle management and Peoject Managers that letting them go itself will bring us down another 10K or 15K.
