Thread regarding Solventum layoffs

I wouldn't cut my hair

New employee here. Well, I was. They told me I had to cut my hair. AFTER they hired me. I refused. Now I am laid off. Been here 2 weeks. Must be a record. Oh well, I couldn't print from my laptop anyway.

That guy with the pink hair and beard has been laid off from his next couple jobs, too, so I'm guessing there's a bigger issue at play than hair color.

Now I'm spared from having to go to Eagan. $209 million in renovations though?!

They laid off many thousands. The majority didn't have pink hair or cowboy boots.

When we were still 3m in 275 they laid off that guy with pink hair/beard. I wouldn't put it past them. They also laid off that guy who always wore a cowboy hat and boots.

What division? I have never heard of such a thing and I’ve been with the company over 30 years! There was a guy in the office who had bright pink longish hair and a bright pink beard!

It's all about personal priorities. Their priority is to have you look a certain way and valued that look more than the talent that you provided. Your priority is to maintain your hair a certain way and you value that over the benefits provided by being employed by them. Good luck in your job search, that is if you actually need a job. Consider becoming a barber or a beautician. Sincerely.
