More layoffs to come. They happen on a 121 basis so they don’t get sued. They do not target only underperformers. They are getting rid of excellent talent to replace them with somebody more junior. If you speak out and express concerns about anything and do not play the political corporate game, you’re also out, no matter how much you delivered.

Visa Exec team is leaking the news of layoffs and pretending to be unaware. They are plans to eliminate 80% of technology teams in the USA. Look out for your own good. It will be a blood bath in the Q2 2025, especially VAS even with the best returns, your boss will not even know what hit them. Tech and Dev teams will be impacted, they will move all the existing applications and support to India and Poland. New applications and product teams will be very lean in the US. Get out or wait it out for severance. Visa is a culture of use and throw out employees, no loyalty from Visa and new leadership, bring back our real CEO, not a cheap car sales guy. (Sell, Sell, Sell, what a sellout!). Shame on you Ryan! Trump should be looking at companies like Visa employing outside US and creating an impression of a US brand. Hire in the US! not just manufacturing sectors, should apply to services and especially financial services.
I doesn't want to be layed off...
No, they are definitely not done. More job cuts incoming January onwards - watch out anyone who has been placed on a development feedback plan. You are likely next.
which teams were impacted
There were layoffs this week. So, sadly, I don't think so.
Since everybody seems to be in agreement about January, does that mean we can relax for now?
