I feel sympathy for the passing of the CEO even though he has been MIA since the 22 million dollar scandal, and while I hope those who loved and cared for him heal and have all the time they need to grieve. I would be lying if I said my first thought was anything other than,
“ How will this effect my job”.
I have seen this employees overseas in the Middle East deny coverage to the elderly in my home state and have seen promotions and raises to those who partake in office politics. The rage from employees and members and thier families can not be Sept under the rug, yet that’s all this company has done and it tragically lead to this. Will Heather fully take over as CEO now, will someone else step in? How much change will occur now? Not like a-lot hasn’t happened already, for a while it seemed like weejly emails were coming in about some upper manager who only a few have the pleasure of knowing was stepping down or coming in.
Will this send a message if fear to those in charge and take the issues that arise more seriously or will they go to the extreme and fully offshore everything. Will they provide better jobs in the states and stop sending everything overseas and try to be a better more trusted company or will those who slide into the cracks in leadership be worse and run the company into the ground?
Will I have a job a year from now. Or will my department become obsolete.
