Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Layoffs starting again.

Not sure how many rounds it's been now, but the annual cull has started again. Corp Mktg will be / is being obliterated. My team is gone and I know of colleagues in similar roles that have been informed.

VPs and above are just spineless miserable ba----ds dancing to the tune of a cowardly psychopath.

Some people want a good package because they’ve already been working second jobs and want a nice bonus 😊

What do US severances look like this time? How many weeks per year? Do you get to keep your CIP as they did with the big round last January? It's still fresh, we know. But anyone who's left probably wants to know, because it's only a matter of time before many more good, dedicated employees get the axe. The only safe ones anymore are the ones hired in the last year or two by the golden VP's who run this sh!t show.

CSG will make any effort to negotiate down upcoming severance packages. Remember, CSG needs cash go pay out RSU and bonuses. Why do you think the sudden axe earlier than usual?

Lost some good contacts there with this most recent round.

That’s nonsense about Ireland. Prior redundancy packages have zero bearing on future packages, be it within 12 months or not. We know this from experience cos last year was 4 weeks per year. They create a calculation each time around that suits them and then make minor adjustments to meet any legal requirements. Don’t count on anything previous if you are impacted, wait to see what they put in front of you to sign.

Severance packages are country dependent as each country has it's own laws about minimum amounts. These are based both on salary and what has been given in prior redundancies in the last 12 mo.

If you're in Ireland for example, the packages in April were 3 weeks for every year served, plus add-ons. I'd imagine they'll be the same this time round as 12 mo hasn't elapsed since the previous redundancies so legally they can't be lowered.

I know you’re still digesting this but for the rest of us who are next up. Is it the same severance package they’ve offered before?

Sorry you’re going through this. I know it’s a gut punch. Good luck to you and least with Q1 more job openings in the market so I’m sure you’ll land on your feet quickly.
